Welcome to............. HOPE FOUNDATION TRUST (UK)

Hope Foundation Trust was formed in early 2007 to bring help and support to people in the Churachandpur (also known as Lamka) area of Manipur, North East India who have been affected by drugs and alcohol abuse.

Hope Foundation Trust came out of a partnership between a group of interested Christians in the UK and a group of Christians in North East India. The main goal of the Trust is to reach out and offer HOPE to people in the Churachandpur (Lamka) area in the state of Manipur who need help and support with drug addiction and alcohol problems.

We are aiming to set up a new Rehabilitation centre where we trust with God's help people will find freedom from addiction and a new hope in the Lord Jesus Christ. We sincerely believe the words found in the Bible that say - "He who the Son sets free is free indeed" (John 8:36).

HFT (UK) primarily raises funds in order to finance the building of the Project and generally oversees the Project from a distance. Our man on the ground in Churachandpur (Lamka) is Paukansuan Khupthong (Suan) and he directs the Project first hand with reference to the Trustees in the UK.
